android version: 5.0.3.įix Spotify Equalizer Missing Problem Solved at first i thought it had something to do with wether i was on wi fi or not, but seeing as i'm on wi fi now and it's not working, that is not the case. the wierd thing is that works sometimes, and sometimes it just doesn't kick in. I seem to be having trouble getting the equalizer working on my android. to the equalizer, then the equalizer settings (or preset) activate and the sound changes to. after i reset the slider (off then on) or make a change.
while the slider shows the equalizer as “on” the sound settings are not actually on. every time i relaunch the spotify app, my settings for the equalizer are not active. but everytime i skip or pause a track it gets disabled.
only one app "equalizer" by "smart android apps llc" changes the sound. i have tried almost every equlalizer app that are available on google play store! most of them do absolutely nothing. i am a premium subscriber and have a moto z play (android 7.1.1) with the jbl speakers mod (gen 1). i've uninstalled and reinstalled but still having the same issue. also, i tried downloading amazon music and the equalizer is available, so it doesn't look like an os device issue. i use this feature on a daily basis and it happened today after the spotify app updated.
